Damian Goodall

Damian Goodall's position at Zoos Victoria over the past ten years, as Specialist Keeper for Amphibian Conservation Programs at Melbourne Zoo, has made him instrumental in establishing the captive management and breeding programs for five of Australia's most critically endangered amphibians, including the Watson's Tree Frog. With over 28 years of zoo husbandry experience, mostly with reptiles and amphibians at Zoos Victoria, Damian has gained extensive captive and field experience with herpetofauna in Australia and internationally. This knowledge has allowed Damian and his team to advance amphibian husbandry techniques, achieving the successful reproduction of these challenging frog species and assisting in their recovery.
