Iago Ferraz is a Master's student in Animal Biology at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), researching the relationship between respiratory mechanics and acoustic production in anuran amphibians at LABHASA. Member of the Laboratory of Ecology, Bioacoustics, and Anuran Behavior (LEBCA), with research interests in anuran ecology, behavior, bioacoustics, ethnozoology, and conservation. Ferraz also works with fauna surveys, science communication, and environmental education, particularly focusing on amphibians and their ethology and ecology.
