Focus regions: Global
Zara Shattock is a Zoo Management and Conservation Student at Stroud and South Gloucestershire College, with hands-on experience caring for amphibians in captive collections. She has worked with White's Tree Frogs, Cane Toads, Common Toads, and Mountain Chicken Frogs (the latter of particular conservation importance), and through that work has learned the husbandry, diagnostic, and biosecurity procedures that underpin captive amphibian welfare. Her interests sit at the intersection of veterinary practice, husbandry, and conservation, with a particular focus on disease management.
