Global EbA Fund Medium-Size Grants 2026

Grants of up to US$500,000 for ecosystem-based adaptation work in ODA-eligible countries, or for projects with a global or thematic scope. The submission portal opens 12 October 2026 and closes 16 November 2026; proposals cannot be submitted before the portal opens. Eligible applicants include NGOs, INGOs, IGOs, community-based and Indigenous Peoples' organizations, universities, research institutes, private sector companies, and consortia with a clearly defined lead agency. Government entities cannot be the applicant, though they may join a consortium without receiving funds. Applicants must partner with local institutions, and projects must build on existing work rather than start from scratch. Relevant to amphibian practitioners whose wetland, forest, or watershed restoration doubles as climate adaptation.
